Fisker Coachbuild is an American car manufacturer company based in Irvine, California. Fisker Coachbuild was founded in January 2005 by Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler. Henrik Fisker was responsible for the designs of the BMW Z8, the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage.
The first models were shown at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Fisker Latigo CS (5 liter V10 (BMW M6):500 hp:2006) and the Fisker Tramonto (Mercedes-Benz SL-Class with Kleemann-tuning Supercharged 5.5-liter V8:610 hp:2006). Only 150 vehicles will be built on each of the production models.
The cars continue to make a splash across the globe with sightings in Paris, Geneva, Saudi Arabia and more. The Fisker Tramonto was named one of Robb Report Magazine's Car of the Year in 2006. Cars are sold and delivered one by one. The top of the line Fisker Tramonto was delivered in December 2006 and boasts 700 HP and a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds. Cars are built by hand in Italy using the best materials in carbon fiber and aluminum.
